Chicago, IL (August 15, 2016) — Tango 21 Dance Theater presents Feathers: A Tango Journey at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts on August 19, 20 and 21, 2016.

Like the birds in the sky, we are on a journey and sometimes it takes a storm to reveal one’s true nature. Feathers: A Tango Journey tells the story of three women who meet by chance in an airport and share their tales of love, loss and the search for a path home.

Full of entrancing tango music and dance … prepare to fall into tango’s embrace! This exhibit celebrates the kitchen with 100 paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts featuring masterpiece “slices” from the 18 – 20th centuries. Some of Chicago’s most prominent chefs like Graham Elliot (Graham Elliot) and Heather Terhune (Sable Kitchen and Bar) have stopped by and contributed recipes to an online cookbook.This is it’s last week on display at the Art Institute and you don’t want to miss this modern journey of true culinary art!
