Concerts at Chicago Botanical Gardens

Wow! Did you know that the beautiful Chicago Botanical Gardens has free concerts for the public to picnic while enjoying the beautiful scenery? We didn’t either! All summer long there are summer evening concerts Monday – Thursdays usually starting at 7:00 p.m.!

Some of our favorites are the Carillon Concerts of maestros playing the bells on the bell tower. Their website reads that the tower was crafted in Holland, and it’s bronze bells have a range of four octaves as one of the few hand-played carillons in the nation. These concerts run on Mondays through September and have a free pre-concert tour of the Carillon.  See the list of Carillon Concerts by clicking here.

We also love the Tuesday night option of Music on the Esplanade and Cocktails! On Tuesday the 25th, Hector & Mari Fernandez, along with Tom Kimball will be playing with classic spanish guitar and flamenco music. This group has traveled all over the world and they will be right in our own Garden! 🙂
