30th Annual Music Box Christmas Show- 12/13-24

This event has become a Chicago tradition and is great for families and small groups. Santa greets audience members and the night begins with a Christmas Carol Sing-Along before watching timeless classics White Christmas AND/or It’s a Wonderful Life. Tickets have been on sale since November 1st so order yours ahead of time by calling the “Box Office.”

Advance tickets are:
Single Feature: $12
Double Feature: $17
Children under 13: $10 or $15 double feature

French International SchoolFall French Market: 11/8-10

4th November

The Chicago French International School is throwing their 9th Annual Fall French Market Friday through Sunday on November 8-10th. With more than 60 venders, including activities for children, this is an event that has much variety to offer. The General Admission to the market is only $5.00 while students of the school and children are free. We’ve looked ahead at the schedule and these are a few things we are excited about:

 

Friday Night Fete on Nov. 8th:

7:00-10:00 p.m.

$35 when purchased online by Wednesday, $45 at the door

This is a definitely a French-Mexican fusion fiesta with Mexican cuisine and mariachi bands performing while shoppers are first to see what’s available in the market. It’s unanimous that summer in Chicago is nothing to miss! So since we are already in August- gasp! We are?!- Yes, since it’s already August we want to send out a reminder to get your summer on while you still can! If you’ve been so busy with graduations, weddings, family parties, work, etc., do NOT panic! There is still time to enjoy this fantastic season before the wardrobe change begins!

Let’s stick to the basics…

Summer Concerts in the Park: There are eight (8) performances left in the Millennium Park Music Festival between now and August 17th. Times vary and if you can’t make it to an evening concert you can still catch a rehearsal performance usually happening midday on the day prior to the actual concert.
